Frequently Asked Service Questions
What does an assistive technology expert witness do?
I provide independent, court-compliant reports detailing the assistive technology supports a person may require following an injury or due to a disability. These may include equipment, software, training, and long-term maintenance, all costed in line with procurement standards.
Are your reports suitable for court?
Yes. All reports are prepared in line with expert witness guidelines and include clear, objective analysis suitable for legal proceedings.
How long does a report take?
Most full reports are delivered within 4–5 weeks. A faster, expedited option (2–3 weeks) is available where required.
What types of cases do you work on?
I provide reports for personal injury, clinical negligence, and disability-related legal cases across Ireland and the UK. These are used at both interim and final settlement stages, including for quantum assessment.
Do you offer virtual assessments?
Yes. Assessments can be carried out remotely via secure video call, with no compromise on detail or quality. This can be suitable for early-stage or cross-border cases. Where a case is likely to proceed to court, or where the individual’s needs are complex, an in-person assessment may be required.
